According to the "Hohensteiner Report", the usage of synthetic blankets causes increased body temperature and fluttering heartbeat. Therefore, these blankets may lead to a disturbed, less recreative sleep compared to beds made of pure new wool.

The voluminous raw material and the inherent pucker of this elastic fibre store the air in millions of little minuscule slots and provide thusly constant heat dissipation.
